John O. Read is the Green Party nominee for President of the United States in the 2020 election. He was born on December 16, 1958 in Bronx, New York. Read graduated from Fordham University with a degree in physics. He worked as a physics and math teacher in the New York public school system for over 30 years before retiring. In 2016 and 2020, Read secured the Green Party nomination for President of the United States.
