Brent Anderson, born October 17, 1972, in Gulfport, Mississippi, is a Republican serving as the state representative for Mississippi House District 122. Elected in November 2019, he assumed office on January 7, 2020. Prior to politics, he worked for the Waveland Police Department and Bay Saint Louis Fire Department, later serving as public works director, building official, and federal recovery manager for the city of Waveland. Notable achievements include serving as vice chair of the House Public Utilities Committee and chair of the House Municipalities Committee during the 2020–2021 session, and co-founding the Mississippi Legislative First Responders Caucus in December 2021.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Graduated from Bay High School; attended Mississippi Fire Academy, Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, and completed a program through the Mississippi State Department of Health.
