Biography

John Ley is a Republican member of the Washington House of Representatives, representing *District 18 *, which covers parts of Southwest Washington including Battle Ground, Salmon Creek, Brush Prairie, Felida, and Orchards. He assumed office on January 13, 2025, succeeding Greg Cheney and serving alongside Stephanie McClintock. Ley is a former U.S. Air Force pilot who flew KC-135 tankers, a Delta Air Lines pilot for over 31 years, and a reporter for Clark County Today.
