Senator John Jasinski

John R. Jasinski is a Republican member of the Minnesota State Senate representing District 19. Born on June 24, 1966, he is currently 59 years old. Jasinski has established himself as a legislative leader, serving as Deputy Minority Leader in the Senate.

Education

Jasinski attended Faribault High School for his secondary education in 1984. He continued his higher education at the University of Minnesota, Duluth and Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he earned a B.A. in Business Finance.

Jasinski was first elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016 and has been successfully re-elected in 2020 and 2022. He is currently serving his third term. His district has evolved during his tenure, initially representing District 24 from 2017-2022, and now representing District 19.
