Biography

John B. Hunt is a Republican representative for Cheshire District 14 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Born on November 13, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, he resides in Rindge, NH, is married to Lynda, and has five children: Katelyn, Jennifer, Tyler, Elizabeth, and Shauna. He has served as a legislator for over 34 years since first being elected in 1986, previously representing Cheshire 11 before Cheshire 14 in 2022. Notable positions include former Chair or Ranking Republican on the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee, and service on the Cheshire County Finance Committee.
