Biography
John Foster Hodgson is a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 36 in eastern Jefferson County since January 2023. A retired UPS executive and former operations director for Governor Matt Bevin, he currently serves as president of Bigfoot Strategies, a consulting firm. Married to Robin for over 33 years with two adult children and a grandson, Hodgson is a Christian from Fisherville, Kentucky, and has held leadership roles including president of the Louisville Tea Party and chair of the Jefferson County Republican Party's LD 36. Notable achievements include winning the 2022 election unopposed after a primary victory and the 2024 election with 57.9% against Democrat William Zorn; he also served on boards like the Louisville Arena Authority and Kentucky Environmental Education Council.
