John Gillette is a Republican representative for Arizona House District 30, serving since 2023 after being elected in 2022. A retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major from Kingman, Arizona, he is 56 years old, married to Jamie with two children, and previously worked as a real estate agent. Notable achievements include military service with awards like the Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal, service on close protection details for two U.S. presidents, and as a deputy sheriff SWAT team leader credited with rescuing a 9-year-old hostage. In the legislature, he has helped pass Arizona's largest tax cut, a health care bill saving millions, and a water recharge bill; he currently chairs the Federalism, Military Affairs & Elections Committee, co-chairs the Veterans Caucus, and serves on committees for Government, Public Safety & Law Enforcement, and others.
