Biography
Giovanni M. "John" DiSanto is a Republican who represented Pennsylvania's 15th State Senate District from 2017 to 2024. Born in 1960 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, he is a second-generation family business owner in construction and real estate development, previously serving as president of Triple Crown Corporation and managing trustee of Terra Trust. He is married to Maria Lio DiSanto, with two children and two grandchildren. DiSanto did not seek reelection and left office on November 30, 2024. Notable achievements include sponsoring key legislation such as pension forfeiture for lawbreaking officials , second chances for ex-offenders in state jobs , newborn rare disease screenings , and automating unclaimed property returns . He supported philanthropic efforts like building Bishop McDevitt High School and Habitat for Humanity homes.

Education: Graduated from Central Dauphin High School; earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Urban Planning from American University.
