Biography
John Becker is a Republican politician from Clermont County, Ohio, born in Cincinnati. He served as Ohio State Representative for District 65 from 2013 to 2020, after which term limits prevented re-election. Currently, he is a Union Township Trustee since 2022 and a candidate for Clermont County Auditor in the 2026 primary. Notable for his conservative stances, Becker advocated fiscal policies, opposed COVID-19 restrictions by filing impeachment articles against Governor Mike DeWine, and promoted anti-abortion legislation, including bills to restrict abortions and insurance coverage for them. He has long been involved in Republican leadership, including as Republican State Central Committeeman from 2004-2012 and roles with the Clermont County and Ohio Republican Parties.
