Joey Garcia is a Democratic State Senator representing District 13 in West Virginia, which includes parts of Marion and Monongalia Counties. He serves as Assistant Minority Leader and was born on January 30, 1983, in Marietta, Ohio. Garcia is an attorney by occupation, married to Heather Hoelscher, with parents David and Kelly Garcia; he is a member of the United Methodist Church. Notable affiliations include the Marion County Chamber of Commerce, Fairmont Marion County Regional Airport Authority, West Virginia Association for Justice, and Fairmont Lions Club.
