Biography
Senator Joe Pittman is a Republican representing Pennsylvania's 41st Senatorial District, which includes Armstrong, Indiana, Jefferson , and Westmoreland counties. A lifelong resident of Indiana County, he serves as Senate Majority Leader, leading the Senate Republican Caucus. Notable achievements include championing family-sustaining jobs, infrastructure improvements, law enforcement support, and limiting government overreach. He was elected in a 2019 special election, reelected for a full term in 2020, and reelected as Majority Leader for the 2025-2026 session.

He is a life member of the NRA, member of the Indiana County Republican Committee, Ford City Sportsmen’s Association, and Indiana-Franklin Lodge #313. He resides with his wife Gina and four children: Joe Jr., Sam, Rosie, and Frannie.
