Joe Kelly

Joseph Patrick Kelly, born March 17, 1956, is an American attorney and politician serving as the 42nd Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska since January 5, 2023. A Republican, he also serves as President of the Nebraska State Legislature. Born and raised in Lexington, Nebraska, he resides in Lincoln with his wife Susan, to whom he has been married for more than 30 years. They have two children, Shannon and Tom, and attend St. Peter Catholic Church. Kelly ran as the running mate to Governor Jim Pillen in the 2022 election.
