Joe Canino is a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 65th Assembly District, which includes part of Torrington. He assumed office on January 8, 2025, and resides in Torrington, where he was born and raised. Notable achievements include earning a perfect 100% score on the 2025 CBIA Legislative Scorecard and prior service as Wing Commander in the U.S. Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.
