Joseph M. "Joe" Bustos is a Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 112 since 2020. A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army , he previously served on the Mount Pleasant Town Council . He resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife Kathryn and has two children.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: B.A. from Columbia College ; M.S.A. from Central Michigan University .
• Political Experience: Elected to South Carolina House District 112 in 2020; reelected in 2022 with 12,007 votes in the Republican primary. Serves on various House committees.
