Biography
Jodi Giglio is a Republican/Conservative Assembly Member representing District 2 in the New York State Assembly, serving since 2021. Born June 2, 1968, in Syosset, she resides in Baiting Hollow, NY, with her husband Michael and three children: William, Jessica, and Jacob. A small business owner and union member of Local 138, International Union of Operating Engineers, she owns Bennett Enterprises, a state-certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise in construction management. Notable achievements include saving Riverhead taxpayers millions through efficient government reforms like bidding out garbage pickup , implementing code enforcement software, securing federal funds for school sidewalks, preserving 2,000 acres of farmland and 200 acres of open space, and spearheading environmental initiatives such as water pollution prevention and opposition to Long Island Sound dumping. She has been honored as a Woman of Distinction by Minority Millennials Inc. and serves on committees including Environmental Conservation, Labor, Transportation, and the Legislative Women's Caucus.
