Jimmy Willis is a Republican member of the West Virginia House of Delegates representing District 3 . Elected on November 8, 2022, by defeating incumbent Democrat Phil Diserio, he assumed office on December 1, 2022, at age 22. A lifelong resident of Bethany, West Virginia, Willis has worked as a West Liberty University ambassador and in the university's maintenance department. He serves on the House Education Committee, Technology and Infrastructure Committee, Economic Development Committee, and Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services Committee. In the 2025 session, he was the lead sponsor of three bills, including HB 2155 , HB 2737 , and HB 2798 .

Education and Political Experience

Willis majored in political science with a minor in history at West Liberty University, where he was a student during his election. His political experience includes his 2022 election to the West Virginia House of Delegates as a Republican, running unopposed in the primary. He contributes to the GOP's strong majority in the legislature.
