Jimmy Theo Patronis Jr. is a Republican serving as the U.S. Representative for Florida's 1st Congressional District since April 2025. This district includes Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties in Florida’s Western Panhandle. A Panhandle native and Trump supporter, he won a special election in 2025 after Rep. Matt Gaetz's resignation, defeating Democrat Gay Valimont with 65.7% of the vote. Notable achievements include serving as Florida's longest-tenured Chief Financial Officer , winning two statewide elections, and prioritizing tax cuts, spending restraint, military investment, and veterans' services in Congress. He serves on the Transportation & Infrastructure and Small Business committees.
