James "Jim" Summers is a Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Rockingham 20. He is a business owner, professor, and U.S. Navy veteran who previously served in the House from 2010 to 2012 for Hillsborough 26 and assumed office for Rockingham 20 on December 7, 2022. Summers is the founder and CEO of Exigere Networks Inc. and serves on the Science, Technology, & Energy Committee. He is married with three children and resides in Newton, New Hampshire.

Education and Political Experience

Education:

Summers holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and Juris Master in American Legal Studies from Liberty University, a Master of Science from Penn State University, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1995 after high school.
