Jim Harrison is a former American politician from Vermont who served as a Republican representative for Rutland-11 in the Vermont House of Representatives from 2017 until his resignation on January 6, 2026. Originally from Chittenden in Rutland County, he and his wife Pat lived in North Chittenden since 2006, with two adult children and five grandsons. Prior to politics, he had a 29-year career with the Vermont Retail & Grocers Association , serving as its president until the end of 2016. He served on the House Appropriations Committee and was noted for his dedication during his over eight-year tenure.
