Biography
Jim Guzofski
Jim Guzofski Jr. is an American politician and Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Rockingham 1st district. He represents the towns of Northwood and Nottingham in Rockingham County. Beyond his legislative role, Guzofski is an ordained minister with over 34 years of ministry experience and has served as pastor of Destiny Christian Church for the past 14 years. He is also involved in leadership with the IPHC Northern New England District.
Political Experience
Guzofski has been serving as a State Representative since 2024. At the state level, he serves on the Election Law committee. Locally, he has been twice elected as a Northwood selectman and is currently in his second term as a member of the select board. In these roles, he has served as the selectman representative on the Budget Committee, the alternate selectman representative to the Planning Board, and the selectman liaison to the Conservation Commission and Police Commission.
Community Service
In addition to his political roles, Guzofski is an active member of the Northwood Fire and Rescue department, where he serves as chaplain. His extensive background in community service and ministry has shaped his approach to public service at both the local and state levels.
