Biography
James "Jim" F. Dill is a Democratic state representative for House District 26 in Maine, covering parts of Penobscot County including Old Town, Bradley, Penobscot Indian Island, and Penobscot Nation. A resident of Old Town, he is married to Jane, with three children and six grandchildren. Currently serving his fourth non-consecutive term in the Maine House , he previously represented District 26 from 2010-2014 and served four terms in the Maine Senate from 2014-2024. As a university professor and pest management specialist at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, he has chaired the RSU #34 School Board for 24 years and the United Technologies Center board for 10 years. He serves on the Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, Elections, and Inland Fisheries and Wildlife committees.

- Education: B.S., M.S., Ph.D. from the University of Maine and Purdue University , specializing in entomology.
- Political Experience: Elected to Maine House ; Maine Senate ; long-term service on local school boards.
