Biography
Jill Koford
Jill Koford is a Republican representing Utah House District 10, which covers Weber County. A lifelong resident of Weber County, she was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. She is married to Rod and has three children: Katie, Alex, and Gracie.
Beyond her legislative work, Koford is a small business owner, former educator, and instrument-rated private pilot. She has deep roots in her community and has consistently emphasized her commitment to putting families first in the legislature.
Education
Koford attended public schools in the Ogden area, graduating from Weber High School. She earned her bachelor's degree from Weber State University in 1992 and later completed a master's degree in Education from the University of Southern California in 2011.
Political Experience
Koford began her legislative service in the Utah House of Representatives on January 1, 2025. Prior to her election, she ran as a candidate for Utah House District 10, emphasizing themes of limited government and community-driven governance. Her campaign platform focused on empowering families and giving back to the community that shaped her life.
