Jill N. Cooper , one of four daughters, grew up in Plum Borough and resides in Murrysville with her husband Leighton, dog Milo, and two adult children, Shelby and Blake. After high school, she worked in sales and marketing at Alcoa, later serving as executive director of the Murrysville Economic and Community Development Corporation . A community leader post-retirement, she held roles on Parent Teacher Organizations, school and church groups, the Franklin Regional Adult School of Murrysville board , Westmoreland and Fayette Workforce Investment Board, and Murrysville Library. Currently, she serves on the Franklin Regional Panther Foundation and Westmoreland Community Action boards. Elected in 2022 on a platform of fiscal restraint, government limits, education improvements, and support for working families and businesses, she opposed Wolf administration COVID-19 closures impacting businesses, employees, students, parents, and seniors. Priorities include tax protection, reducing overregulation, election reforms, and opioid crisis action.
