Jessica Grill

Jessica Grill is an American politician serving as a Democratic State Representative for Hillsborough 18 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. A native of Bedford, New Hampshire, she was raised in a family that valued hard work and service to others. She was inspired by her grandmother's experiences as part of an Eastern European immigrant family during the Great Depression, and her grandmother's career balancing social work with raising three successful children. These family stories of grit and resilience motivated Grill to run for office for the first time in 2022.

After growing up in Bedford, Grill moved to Boston and later to New York City to launch a career in advertising. Her time out of state ultimately strengthened her appreciation for New Hampshire, and she chose to return home and settle in Manchester.

Education

Grill graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology . She completed her primary and secondary education in Bedford public schools.

Political Experience

Grill has been serving in the New Hampshire House of Representatives since 2022. She maintains accessibility to her constituents while working a full-time job in the private sector as a media supervisor, and has attended all State House session days during her tenure.

In her legislative role, Grill serves as Clerk of the House Election Law Committee, where she has worked to strengthen democracy for New Hampshire voters. She has also collaborated with legislators across party lines on high-priority issues including housing, campaign finance reform, and matters related to economic and educational opportunities, community safety, the environment, and civil liberties including reproductive freedom and voting rights.
