Notable achievements include sponsoring the landmark "middle housing" legislation in 2023, chairing the Senate Housing Committee with national recognition for housing affordability reforms, eliminating copays for abortion care, expanding access to mifepristone and behavioral health services, and securing over $1.2 billion for housing and homelessness initiatives.
