Biography
Jerry M. Stringham
Jerry M. Stringham is an American politician and entrepreneur from Woodstock, New Hampshire. He serves as a Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Grafton 3rd district. Before his political career, he was a medical technology entrepreneur and developer who founded five start-ups in New England. He established Medical Technology Partners in 1998, a consulting firm that has provided advisory services to over 200 innovative medical product companies. His professional background also includes a role as chairman of a sewer pipe renovation company and three years with IBM.
Beyond business, Stringham has been active in community service. He served as president of the Lincoln-Woodstock Rotary Club and was a past singer with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the official chorus of the Boston Symphony. He has also served as a trustee for Jean's Playhouse.
Education
Stringham holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Political Experience
Stringham first served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020, during which he held positions as a member of the Ways and Means Committee and clerk of the Grafton County Executive Committee. He returned to the legislature in 2022 and currently serves as the Clerk of the House Finance Committee for Health and Human Services. He has been involved with the Grafton County Executive Committee during his current term. His current term began on December 7, 2022.
