Senator Jerry Cirino

Jerry Cirino is a Republican state senator representing Ohio State Senate District 18, which encompasses all of Lake County and portions of eastern and southern Cuyahoga County. He is currently serving his second term in the Ohio Senate.

Cirino is a retired business executive with extensive experience in the medical device and healthcare technology industries. He and his wife, Donna, have resided in Lake County for over 45 years, where they raised nine children. They now have 37 grandchildren, all residing in Ohio.

Prior to his current role in the state senate, Cirino served four years as a Lake County Commissioner, where he focused on creating a jobs-friendly environment and addressing challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Education

Cirino holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Lake Erie College and an MBA from Lake Erie College .

- Currently serving as a member of the Senate Finance Committee, where he played a pivotal role in guiding the state budget process and championing property tax reform

- Brought hundreds of new jobs to Lake County and Ohio throughout his business career
