Biography
Jeremy S. LaCombe is a Republican state representative for Louisiana House District 18, covering Iberville, Pointe Coupee, West Baton Rouge, and West Feliciana parishes. Originally elected as a Democrat in a 2019 special election, he switched to the Republican Party on April 10, 2023, and was re-elected in November 2023. He serves as vice chair of the House Select Committee on Homeland Security and is a member of committees including Judiciary, Natural Resources and Environment, Ways and Means, and others. An attorney and small business owner at LaCombe Law Firm since 2008, he is eligible to serve through 2028.
Notable achievements and positions include supporting "Constitutional Carry" , concealed handgun liability protections , and procedures for challenging statutes ; an 84% pro-life voting record in 2023; and introducing HB420 on apprenticeship requirements for economic development projects.
