Biography

Jennifer Smith Boylan is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 66 . She assumed office on January 3, 2023, succeeding Liana Cassar, and lives in Barrington with her husband and two sons. Notable achievements include sponsoring laws to modernize alcoholism statutes, regulate electric bicycles, and reform school safety drills; chairing a commission on school lockdowns; advocating for gun safety laws ; and championing environmental initiatives like composting, plastic bag bans, and climate bills on microplastics, green buildings, and pollinator protections.
