Michigan House District 109 . Elected in 2022, reelected in 2024 but lost seat to Republican Karl Bohnak.
Jennifer "Jenn" Hill, born September 26, 1966, in Belvidere, Illinois, is a former Democratic state representative from Michigan. Married to Andrew Dalian, she served one term in the Michigan House of Representatives for the 109th District from 2023 to 2025, becoming the last Democrat to represent any part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the legislature as of 2025. A longtime infrastructure advocate, clean energy expert, and nonprofit leader, Hill focused on resilient communities, environmental protection, renewable energy, public health, and youth programs. Notable positions include Majority Vice Chair of the Natural Resources, Environment, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee, and service on Energy, Communications and Technology; Higher Education; and Local Government and Municipal Finance committees. She championed infrastructure investments, free school meals, ending right-to-work laws, repealing the retirement tax, protecting reproductive rights, workers' rights, and opposing pollution.
