Jenifer Jones

Jenifer Marie Jones is a Republican member of the New Mexico House of Representatives, representing District 32 .

Jenifer Jones is a registered nurse and politician from Deming, New Mexico. She was elected in November 2022, defeating incumbent Democrat Candie Sweetser, and assumed office on January 1, 2023. She serves as Ranking Member of the House Health & Human Services Committee and a member of the House Transportation, Public Works & Capital Improvements Committee. In 2024, she won re-election to District 32 with 6,026 votes.

Education and Political Experience

Jones began her nursing career at Lovelace Health System, specializing in home health care, and later worked at Gila Regional Medical Center and the University of Kansas Health System.
