Biography
Jennifer Dailey-Provost is a Democratic member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 22 in Salt Lake County, which includes neighborhoods like Marmalade, Capitol Hill, the Avenues, the University of Utah, and downtown Salt Lake City. She serves as Minority Whip for the House Democratic Caucus and was first elected in November 2018, assuming office in January 2019. Notable achievements include sponsoring and passing a 2021 bill allowing incarcerated women to continue prescribed birth control, signed into law by Governor Cox. She advocates for health outcomes, LGBTQ+ rights, disability rights, opioid crisis response, medical cannabis improvements, air quality, education, restorative justice, and voting rights.
