Biography

Jeffrey Elmore is a Republican politician and educator who formerly represented North Carolina's 94th House District in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2013 to 2024. He served as Chairman of Appropriations and on multiple committees, and was honored with the Governor’s School Champion Award for his advocacy in gifted education. Notable roles include president of Professional Educators of North Carolina and board member of the Blue Ridge Opportunity Commission ; he ran unsuccessfully in the 2024 Republican primary for Lieutenant Governor. Currently, he serves as senior policy advisor to Speaker Destin Hall.

Education and Political Experience
