Biography
Jeff Yarbro is an American attorney and Democratic politician representing District 21 in the Tennessee State Senate, which includes parts of Davidson County in Nashville. He has served in the Senate since 2015, acting as Senate Minority Leader from 2019 to 2023 and previously as Minority Caucus Chair from 2015 to 2018. Notable achievements include his leadership roles in the Democratic caucus, committee service on Finance, Ways and Means; Health and Welfare; State and Local Government; and others, plus his 2023 run for Mayor of Nashville where he placed fourth.
