Biography
Jeffrey Reed "Jeff" Wardlaw is a Republican politician and farmer representing District 94 in the Arkansas House of Representatives, covering parts of Bradley, Drew, and Desha counties. Born on August 25, 1980, he resides in Hermitage with his wife, Laura “Missy” Wardlaw, and their three children. A member of the United Methodist Church and the Rotary Club, Wardlaw initially served as a Democrat before switching to the Republican Party in November 2016 due to differences on social issues. He is currently serving his eighth term and holds notable positions including Chair of the House Public Health, Welfare, and Labor Committee, as well as service on the House State Agencies Committee and the Arkansas Legislative Council. Among his achievements, he was inducted into the Arkansas Boys State Hall of Fame and received the "Legislator of the Year" award from the Arkansas Forestry Association for contributions to the forestry industry. He is also involved with the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce and the Bradley County Industrial Development Commission.
