Jeff Tate
Jeff Tate is a Republican politician born on April 22, 1988, in Meridian, Mississippi. He is married to Leigha Tate. Tate represents District 33 in the Mississippi State Senate, which encompasses Clarke and Lauderdale counties.
Political Experience
Tate began his public service as an Election Commissioner in Lauderdale County from 2009 to 2019, before transitioning to state-level office. He assumed his seat in the Mississippi State Senate on January 7, 2020, after winning the Republican primary with 83.9% of the vote and running unopposed in the general election.
