Jeff Shipley is a Republican state representative serving House District 87 in Iowa, representing Van Buren County. Born on August 9, 1988, in Euclid, Ohio, he resides in Birmingham, Iowa. He was first elected in 2018 and is currently serving his second term. His profession includes performance artist, gardener, sauerkraut salesman, professional advocate, and stand-up comedian.

• Education: Graduated from Naperville Central High School in Naperville, Illinois, in 2006; earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Iowa in 2010.
• Political Experience: Elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2018 for District 82, then re-elected in 2022 for District 87.
