Jeff Jackson is a Democrat who served as the U.S. Representative for North Carolina's 14th Congressional District from 2023 to 2025, before becoming North Carolina's Attorney General in January 2025. Born September 12, 1982, in Miami, Florida, he is an attorney, Army National Guard officer with 22 years of service , and prosecutor focused on public service, criminal justice reform, public education, and consumer protection. Notable achievements include securing over $7 billion from pharmaceutical companies for the opioid crisis, suing landlords for illegal rent hikes, returning $150,000 to scam victims, closing the criminal consent loophole, improving expungement laws, and gaining national attention as the only legislator present during a 2015 snow day.
