Biography
Jeff Gordon is a Republican State Senator representing Connecticut's 35th District, which includes the towns of Ashford, Chaplin, Coventry, Eastford, Ellington, Hampton, Stafford, Thompson, Tolland, Union, Vernon, Willington, and Woodstock. Elected in 2022, he serves as Senate Republican Leader , Ranking Member of the Planning & Development Committee and Veterans’ Affairs Committee, and member of the Appropriations, Public Health, and Public Safety Committees. He is Co-Chair of the Rural Caucus. Notable achievements include extensive medical leadership as President of the CT State Medical Society, founding Chair of CTHealthLink, and service on the CT Medical Examining Board and American Medical Association’s Council on Legislation.
