Jeff Farnan
Jeff Farnan is a Republican state representative from Missouri's 1st House District in northwest Missouri. He is a cattle farmer, businessman, and community leader from the Maryville area. Farnan is known for his conservative values and emphasis on practical, experienced leadership in state government.
Political Experience
Farnan was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives representing HD 1, succeeding Rep. Allen Andrews who was term-limited. He ran in a competitive five-way Republican primary for the seat. In the legislature, Farnan serves from Room 201-C of the State Capitol in Jefferson City and has sponsored legislation including bills related to ambulance district provisions.
Education and Community Involvement
Beyond his primary work as a cattle farmer, Farnan is an optician and owner of the Maryville Spec Shoppe and its sister location in Stanberry. He helped establish the Tri-Meadows Event Center and serves as president of the Jefferson C-123 School Board, reflecting his commitment to quality education. His passion for educational policy is inspired by his own children.
