Biography

Jeffrey George Crank, born on January 28, 1967, in Pueblo, Colorado, is an American politician and radio show host. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 5th Congressional District. Prior to his election to Congress, Crank hosted a talk radio show on KVOR-AM and worked as a political consultant. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Education and Political Experience

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colorado State University.

  • Political Experience:

    • Served as a legislative assistant and later as administrative director for Representative Joel Hefley from 1991 to 1998.
    • Vice President and Senior Vice President of the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce.
    • Elected Chairman of the 5th Congressional District Republican Central Committee in 2001 and 2003.
    • Appointed to the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission by Governor Bill Owens in 2003.
