Jeff Cooling is a Democratic member of the Iowa House of Representatives, representing District 77 in southern Linn County, including parts of southern Cedar Rapids. A journeyman electrician and union member, he has served since January 2023 and was reelected unopposed in 2024. Notable positions include ranking member of the Labor and Workforce Committee, and service on the Local Government, State Government, and Transportation committees.
