Biography
Jeff Coleman is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 32 in part of Jackson County, including Grain Valley. Born in 1963 in Independence, Missouri, he has served since 2019 and was elected to his first term in November 2018. He resides in Grain Valley with his wife, Debbie, and they have seven children. Coleman is a financial advisor specializing in retirement income and a member of the NRA. Notable achievements include being named Grain Valley Citizen of the Year in 2012, serving as mayor pro tem on the Grain Valley Board of Aldermen, president of the Grain Valley Economic Development Corporation and Industrial Development Committee, and past president of the Grain Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Attended Oak Grove High School and Graceland University.
- Political Experience: Former Grain Valley Alderman and current member of the Grain Valley School Board . In the Missouri House, he serves as Vice Chair of the Economic Development Committee, Professional Registration and Licensing Committee, and Insurance Policy Committee. He is known for focusing on serving all constituents in his district regardless of party.
