Senator Jeff Barta

Jeff Barta is a Republican state senator representing District 43 in North Dakota, which encompasses Grand Forks. He has been serving in the North Dakota Senate since 2023. Barta is a small business owner and long-time Grand Forks resident who has lived there with his wife Lisa since 1984. He is Roman Catholic and is originally from Michigan, North Dakota.

Education

Barta holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Dakota ** and an **MBA from Troy University . He is also a Program Manager at the Center for Innovation.
