Jeff Barry is a Republican representative for Texas House District 29, which includes parts of Brazoria County such as Pearland, Alvin, and other cities like Brookside Village, Freeport , and Manvel . Born on November 22, 1969, in Pearland, he is 55 years old , married to Charisse, and works as an insurance executive owning Barry Insurance Group. He served four years in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class during Desert Storm, repairing aviation electronics equipment. First elected to the Texas House in 2025 for the 89th Legislative Session, his seat is up for election in 2026.
