Jay Reedy is a Republican representing Tennessee's 74th House District, which covers Houston, Humphreys, and Montgomery Counties. He has served in the Tennessee House of Representatives since 2015 and resides in Erin, Tennessee. He is married to Vickie Reedy, a teacher at Houston County High School, and they have three children. Prior to politics, Reedy worked as a cattle farmer, certified locksmith , U.S. Army Reserve enlisted soldier, and Houston County Election Board Commissioner. He currently serves as Correspondence Secretary for the Houston County Republican Party. Notable achievements include winning re-elections in 2016 and 2018 with increasing margins and facing no opposition in 2020.
