Jay A. Jacobs is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 36 since January 12, 2011. A small business owner of Jay A. Jacobs Complete Kitchens and Baths LLC since 1986, he previously served as mayor of Rock Hall, Maryland , where he led recovery efforts after Tropical Storm Isabel in 2003. Notable positions include Chair of the House Republican Caucus since 2013 and member of the Environment and Transportation Committee throughout his tenure. He has received awards such as the Kent County Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award and WCTR Person of the Year .
