Biography

Jason Shoaf is a Republican representing Florida House District 7, which includes Dixie, Franklin, Gulf, Hamilton, Lafayette, Liberty, Suwannee, Taylor, Wakulla counties, and parts of Jefferson and Leon counties. Born on September 20 in Panama City, Florida, he resides in Port St. Joe and works in the natural gas/propane utility industry. He has two children, William and Madelyn, and identifies as Christian, with recreational interests in camping, family time, fishing, and hunting. Elected to the Florida House of Representatives on June 18, 2019, in a special election, he has been reelected subsequently, with terms extending to 2028.
