Jason Schultz is a Republican state senator representing District 6 in the Iowa Senate. A farmer from Crawford County, he has served in the Iowa legislature since 2008, including three terms in the Iowa House and his third term in the Senate . Notable achievements include seven years in the Iowa National Guard, 13 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Schleswig Volunteer Fire Department , and service on the Horn Memorial Hospital Foundation. He chairs the Judiciary Committee, vice-chairs Workforce, and serves on Commerce, State Government, Ways and Means, and other committees. Married to Amy since 1996 with two daughters, Josie and Camryn, they are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig.
