Biography
Jason Perillo is a Republican state senator representing Connecticut's 21st District, which includes the towns of Monroe, Seymour, Shelton, and Stratford. A lifelong resident of Shelton, he won a special election in February 2025 to join the State Senate after serving in the Connecticut House of Representatives since 2007, where he rose to Deputy House Republican Leader in 2020. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a career in healthcare administration and serves as a Corporator for Griffin Hospital, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Holy Trinity Catholic Academy in Shelton, and is involved in community organizations including St. Joseph Church, Knights of Columbus, and Sons of the American Legion.
Notable achievements and positions include Ranking Member of the Human Services Committee and Committee on Children, and Member of the Finance, Revenue & Bonding Committee.
